Royal Judge Rejects Prince Harry's Petition as He Pleads for Second Chance in Court

According to a royal expert, Prince Harry is still embroiled in a frustrating battle with the media, fighting what he perceives as "yesterday's war."

The Duke of Sussex is currently engaged in a court battle against a publisher, News Group newspapers, and things are not going as he had hoped, as shared by Newsweek Royal correspondent Jack Royston on true royalty TVs the Royal Beef.

The ongoing legal battles that Harry is facing against various media outlets are being termed as "yesterday's war" by the expert. Specifically, the court case against News Group newspapers is not progressing as Harry had expected.

The frustration lies in the fact that Harry won't be able to take a particular aspect of his claim further due to a technicality. He apparently left it too late to bring the claims to court, preventing him from obtaining a verdict on whether phone hacking by News Group newspapers occurred.

According to Royston, Harry will likely blame the monarchy and his family for allegedly keeping him in the dark about phone hacking information.

Furthermore, the royal expert remarked on how Harry has become somewhat of an afterthought in the public eye. Previously, when Harry's name was associated with an event or promotion, the media would enthusiastically cover it, and he played a significant role in branding and marketing various organizations.

However, it seems that in 2022, this trend changed, with fewer press releases featuring Harry prominently. Royston observed that Harry's name is no longer at the top of the list when it comes to promoting activities, suggesting a shift in attention.
