NATO Commander General Takes Issue with Prince Harry as Meghan Markle Grabs Spotlight at Center Stage

Why is Meghan Markle There and What Role is She Playing? NATO Commander Questions Prince Harry as Meghan Takes Center Stage in the Camera Spotlight". During the Invictus Games hosted by Prince Harry, a meeting took place between the Duke and Duchess of Sussex and NATO Joint Force Commander General Luigi Migliata.

This encounter occurred amidst claims from athletes at the event that they felt caught in the crossfire between Prince Harry and his family. The couple, Meghan and Harry, appeared alongside NATO Chiefs and their families, including a significant presence from the Italian and Dutch Armed Forces, in a typical royal-style engagement in Dusseldorf.

Culture expert Nick Eade suggested that the Sussexes' decision to pose with NATO Chiefs might be seen as a strategic move in their personal PR battle. The couple arrived hand in hand, with Meghan donning a bronze silk shirt and caramel trousers, while Harry wore a sharp navy suit and crisp white shirt. They exchanged greetings with NATO leaders and their families.

However, when Meghan requested a private meeting with NATO Chiefs and their families, it was reportedly declined, as they were not familiar with her. According to NATO, the only scheduled meeting in September was in Oslo from September 15th to 17th for defense ministers. The German Minister of Defense happened to be present at the Invictus Games and had an incidental encounter with Harry.

While the Invictus Community cheered for Prince Harry, Meghan's reception in Germany appeared less favorable. Some criticized her for seeking photo opportunities without a clear role in the Invictus Games. An insider revealed that in a backstage clip, the NATO Commander General asked Prince Harry about Meghan, questioning her presence and role, seemingly implying that Meghan lacked a defined role in the event and was primarily there as Harry's wife.

There were earlier rumors suggesting that after the closing ceremony, Meghan had inquired about a NATO leader providing her with a helicopter to return to the United States, but her request was reportedly denied.

A recent photo showed Meghan standing at the center of a group that included Harry and Invictus athletes. Some observers criticized her for appearing to dominate the photo, with her pose drawing attention to herself rather than engaging with the team.

This incident was likened to past instances where Meghan had positioned herself prominently in group photos, seemingly eager for attention.

Critics argued that her actions seemed out of place and raised questions about her behavior in such situations. They questioned whether Meghan should have taken a more supportive role rather than seeking the spotlight.
