Prince Harry Issues Social Media Warning as Meghan Markle Readies for Instagram Return

Prince Harry, the Duke of Sussex, has recently sounded a warning about the potential hazards associated with social media. This cautionary note came amidst reports of his wife, Meghan Markle, considering a return to Instagram.

During an interaction at the Invictus Games, Prince Harry had a conversation with a young boy and took selfies with him. It was during this friendly exchange that the Prince shared his concerns about social media. The encounter was captured on video and shared by royal expert and Telegraph reporter Victoria Ward on X, formerly known as Twitter.

In the video, Prince Harry can be seen seated next to JJ Chalmers, a close friend who had experienced life-changing injuries in Afghanistan and had earned medals at the Invictus Games. While posing for selfies with the young boy, Prince Harry asked him how old he was and, upon learning that the boy had his own phone, playfully inquired, "You're not on social media, are you?"

It's worth noting that Prince Harry himself has not been active on social media since 2020. His warning about the potential pitfalls of social media usage comes at a time when there are reports suggesting Meghan's possible return to Instagram, with claims that the Duchess could potentially earn up to $1 million per post.
