In their docuseries, they revealed that they had met on Instagram. What exactly happened when this Hollywood actress first met the real-life Royal Prince, then? However, we are certain of how it did not occur. We cannot know with certainty how it actually occurred.
Meghan and Harry's meeting was not a coincidence. This was not some blind date set up by someone they both knew, and I don't believe for a second that Harry just happened to stumble upon Meghan's Instagram and thought she was so hot that he had to get to know her.
You see, in the life of a narcissist like Meghan Markle, there are very few coincidences, and there are very few things that are allowed to naturally develop. Instead, everything is carefully orchestrated, and this relationship between Meghan and Harry is no exception.
Just yesterday, an article was published in the Daily Mail by their Show Business editor, Katie Hind. In this article, she goes into great detail about a meeting she had with a certain American actress back in 2013. At the time, she had no idea what would happen with that American actress only a few years later, but what was obvious even back then was that Meghan Markle was on a mission, and she wasn't going to give up until she got what she wanted—a rich Englishman.
Katie Hind reports that back in November 2013, she met Meghan Markle on a cold night in London at a rooftop hotel bar in SoHo, popular with celebrities. Megan was still relatively unknown in the US and completely unknown in Britain at the time. Megan's publicist was apparently begging different journalists to meet with her, and most people declined, but Katie Hind accepted.
Miss Hind writes that Meghan was pretty, but not stunningly so, dressed in a smart black coat, black trousers, and stiletto boots. Megan greeted her warmly and had that Hollywood smile, not the rictus grin we see today. The two of them proceeded to talk like girlfriends over some glasses of Prosecco.
According to Katie Hind, Megan made it clear that she was keen to find a British boyfriend and was soon telling her about a celebrity who was interested—England and Chelsea footballer Ashley Cole. She claimed that he had spotted her on 'Suits' and was following her on social media. Megan even claimed that he had slipped into her DMs on Twitter. Later on, Ashley Cole came out and claimed that it was Megan chasing after him. Whether or not he was saying that to save face, who knows, but I think I know who I'm inclined to believe, and it's not that hypocritical former Duchess.
During this fateful chat, Katie advised Megan to steer clear of Ashley Cole due to his past as a cheater. Megan appeared disappointed to learn about Cole's backstory, but she continued to chat away, telling Katie about her home in Toronto and her recent split from her film and TV producer husband, Trevor Engelson, with whom she had lived in LA. Megan didn't seem too upset about the breakup with Engelson and was matter-of-fact about it. In her words, 'the relationship had run its course.'
But let's translate that from narcissist speak. What Megan really meant was that she had used him up, taken everything she could get from him, and it was time for him to be thrown away. That's why she was in London—on the hunt for a new victim. Not just any victim, though. Megan saw the end of her career on the horizon. She was still on that cable TV series, but her character was soon to be written off. So, she needed to act fast, and that's why she decided to head to England, thinking she might fare better there. She could flash that Hollywood grin and find herself a wealthy Englishman to give her the fame and fortune she had failed to obtain on her own.
Even back then, Megan knew how to work the media. She understood that she needed to play the media to get some publicity because she knew she couldn't get it based on her talent or looks. Megan has never had the talent or looks to be a star, so she settled for tabloid fodder. She didn't care where the attention came from.
What this article made me realize is that Megan Markle, as a grifter, isn't very good. She started her grifting way back in 2013 and had no success until 2016 when she finally caught her web, probably thanks to Marcus Addison and his connections. I can't help but wonder how long Megan had her sights focused on Harry before she finally made a move. How long was she stalking him before she figured out a way to force a meeting? How many more Ashley Coles were there? How many more Englishmen did Megan chase after but fail to catch?
