Petra Speaks Out, Accuses Meghan Markle of Photoshopping Operation to Disparage Her Image and Bans Her from Chopard Deal

Petra Speaks Out, Accuses Meghan Markle of Photoshopping Operation to Disparage Her Image and Bans Her from Chopard Deal

Co-president and artistic director of Chopard, Caroline Cha, presents an annual red carpet high jewellery collection in honour of the Cannes Film Festival. It's become customary for this collection to include as many jewels as the duration of the film festival. As a result, love served as the inspiration for the 72 original pieces that were unveiled this year.

Longtime brand ambassador Petra Neova had the privilege of introducing the latest Chopard collection at Cannes. She displayed a beautifully designed book that described the tale of a woman who falls in love, starting with the woman receiving flowers and a romantic message from her admirer.

The book's pages revealed a stunning array of extravagant necklaces adorned with emeralds and sapphires, earrings and brooches shaped like flowers featuring opals, pink diamond rings, and various other enchantingly beautiful jewelry pieces. During the event, top model Petra Neova and Megan, the Duchess of Sussex, had their pictures taken together, even though this encounter happened before Megan's marriage to Prince Harry.

Both Petra Neova and top model Theresa Maxiva, along with nutritionist Gabriela Peacock, made appearances at the Royal Wedding. Although Petra was committed to charity work and did not attend the wedding, she and Megan had met before, as evidenced by a photo of them together in an old scrapbook.

However, the real reason behind Petra turning down Megan and Harry's invitation to the Royal Wedding was their lack of closeness. Additionally, there was an apparent feud between Petra and the Duchess, which began when a past photo seemed to show Megan retouching her body to appear more attractive than supermodel Petra. Consequently, Megan has not been sponsored or collaborated with Chopard for any of the royal collections.

Another reason behind Chopard's decision to distance themselves from the Duchess is Megan Markle's previous choice of wearing extravagant diamond earrings gifted to her by a controversial Saudi Prince. These earrings were reportedly bought with inhuman money by Crown Prince Muhammad bin Salman, and it's perplexing that Megan was seemingly unaware of the Saudi Royal's connection to a high-profile crime case when she wore the earrings to a state dinner.

Michael Eisner, the Chief Operating Officer of Democracy for the Arab World, criticized Megan for continuing to wear the earrings, considering them to be within inhuman money and received from a questionable source. According to royal protocol, gifts from foreign heads of state are officially considered Crown property. However, wedding gifts given to senior Royals are typically not loaned out, and the recipient can keep them until their death.

These earrings were initially accepted as a wedding gift when the Crown Prince had lunch with the Queen during a visit to London in March, and Megan was subsequently pictured wearing them during a state dinner in Fiji and at Prince Charles's birthday party at Buckingham Palace.
