I think that she just thought it was sort of like being another actress, you know, riding around in a golden coach and all of that. And actually, being a member of the royal family, a lot of it is extremely boring."
Lady Glenconner pointed out that members of the royal family are expected to meet numerous people and engage in conversations, requiring them to say something interesting and pleasant to each person. She suggested that Meghan may not have fully comprehended these aspects of her role.
Furthermore, Lady Glenconner mentioned that this perspective on Meghan is not exclusive to the UK; it is also shared in America. She revealed that during a conversation with American politician John Kerry, he expressed sympathy for Prince Harry, implying that many Americans felt the same way.
