WME Extends Invite to Meghan Markle for Katy's Concert, But Excluded from Matthew's Funeral as Jennifer Bans Her

WME Extends Invite to Meghan Markle for Katy's Concert, But Excluded from Matthew's Funeral as Jennifer Bans Her

There have been rumors circulating recently about WME's attempts to get Meghan Markle to attend actor Matthew Perry's funeral. According to reports, Courtney Cox and Jennifer Aniston ordered Meghan to leave the funeral services as she was setting up a camera for a picture. Given that it seems like Meghan, Harry, and the "Friends" cast members are not welcome among them, this incident serves as a sharp reminder of the tense connection between them.

Six days after his terrible death—he was discovered dead in his Los Angeles home at the age of 54—Matthew Perry had a private funeral. He was buried in Los Angeles' Forest Lawn Cemetery on November 4th in a modest but touching ceremony. His former "Friends" co-stars, David Schwimmer, Jennifer Aniston, Courtney Cox, and Lisa Kudrow were present.

Harry once revealed how much he admired Chandler, played by Matthew Perry in the television series "Friends," and even hinted that he could draw similarities between Chandler's life and his own. In an interview for the film "Diana, Our Mother: Her Life and Legacy," Harry talked of the difficulties he and William had as a result of their parents' divorce, including frequent travel and arguments.

Meghan Markle's affiliation with WME appears to have mostly led to invitations to events that showcase artists the firm represents. In this instance, Harry and Meghan were given concert tickets by WME for Katy Perry. It's possible that the couple attended the concert in an effort to draw attention and possibly outshine Prince William while he was in Singapore. The concert photos, which featured grainy pictures of the free tickets, weren't going to eclipse the international exposure Prince William garnered when he was there, though.

There is a clear difference between Harry and Meghan's attempts to gain media attention by attending concerts and posing for paparazzi shots, and Prince William's cordial welcome in Singapore, which was demonstrated by symbolic actions like lighting up buildings and planting a tree in his honor. The so-called Harles have made an effort to rival the British royal family, but they have had trouble getting invites or staying in the public eye.

Their emphasis on public relations has sparked concerns about their priorities, particularly in light of the fact that they are still spending time apart from their kids and leaving them in the care of strangers. Essentially, their unrelenting quest for publicity and endeavors to discredit the royal family have proven fruitless, highlighting their increasing detachment and estrangement from the royal family.
