Duchess Sophie Fires Warning Shot at Meghan Markle Over Attacks on Kate: Tensions Rise

Duchess Sophie has sent a strong message to Meghan Markle in response to her ongoing criticisms of Princess Kate. During this year's Royal Variety Performance, Princess Katherine captivated everyone in a stunning royal blue dress. The event was attended by the Swedish royal family, with Prince William accompanying his elegant wife. The couple was joined by Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden and her husband, Prince Daniel, for a memorable evening at London's Royal Albert Hall. Interestingly, on the other side of the world, Sophie, Duchess of Edinburgh, also chose to wear a royal blue dress during her visit to a cultural center for dance in Colombia.

The fact that both princesses wore the same color on the same night reflects their mutual support for each other. This close-knit royal family stands by each other, both in subtle and significant ways. In Omid Scobie's book "End Game," it's noted that Sophie, along with Princess Kate and Queen Camilla, ignored Meghan during Queen Elizabeth's funeral. Scobie also claims that Meghan experienced snubs and dismissals during her time in the UK with Prince Harry, along with incidents where Sophie and her husband, Prince Edward, came across as bigoted and dismissive during a conversation with The Telegraph.

Scobie interprets these comments as making them seem stuffy or dismissive at best, and casually bigoted at worst. He suggests that such comments contribute to the perception that the royal family is an intolerant organization steeped in bigotry and privilege. Furthermore, Scobie points out that Sophie and Edward rarely make headlines in the press, with one top Fleet Street editor even remarking that they'd have more luck putting their mom on the front page.

The decision to ignore Meghan at Queen Elizabeth's funeral was seen as appropriate, given the solemn occasion to mourn the queen, not as a platform for the Harry and Meghan show. While many believe that Harry and Meghan should have stayed in America after showing disrespect to the queen and Prince Philip in recent years, their presence at the funeral was graciously accepted by the royal family.

Despite Scobie's explosive book, which aims to shed light on the royal family, King Charles is still hopeful of a potential reunion with Prince Harry. There were earlier rumors that Charles had extended an invitation to Harry and Meghan to spend Christmas with the royal family.

However, PR strategist Laura Perks has advised Harry to let go of hopes for reconciliation. In any feud or relationship breakdown, there comes a point where one must accept that their desired outcome may never materialize. Perks suggests that Harry seems to have come to terms with this fact and should focus on moving forward. Time can heal wounds, and reconciliation may happen when all parties are ready, but the relationship will never be the same again, and that's something Harry needs to accept and live with.
