Jennie Bond Claims King Charles 'Feeling Tired' Following 'Awkward' Encounter with Prince Harry

Prince Harry has arrived at Heathrow Airport as he prepares to return to the US this afternoon. According to royal commentator Jennie Bond, the King's meeting with Prince Harry has left him feeling "tired," as the Duke of Sussex is already getting ready to leave the UK. The meeting between King Charles and his estranged son took place on Tuesday, following the announcement of the King's cancer diagnosis the previous evening. Buckingham Palace has confirmed that King Charles is undergoing treatment for "a form of cancer."

Upon his arrival in the UK on Tuesday afternoon, the Duke of Sussex was escorted by the police to central London, where he reunited with his father at Clarence House. Reports indicate that their meeting lasted no more than 45 minutes, after which Prince Harry stayed in a hotel.

Shortly after Prince Harry's meeting with the King, a helicopter was spotted leaving Buckingham Palace, presumably carrying King Charles and the Queen to the Sandringham Estate.

After spending less than 48 hours in the country, Prince Harry has now arrived at Heathrow Airport this afternoon. However, he did not have the opportunity to see his brother Prince William or the Princess of Wales during his visit. Royal insiders claim that Prince William had "made no plans" to meet with Harry.

Jennie Bond, speaking to GB News, described the meeting as potentially "quite awkward" for Prince Harry, particularly his reunion with Queen Camilla, whom he had publicly criticized in his memoir, Spare. Bond also suggested that the in-person meeting might lead to a possible reconciliation between the King and his youngest son.

Regarding Prince Harry's visit, Bond commented, "Charles was feeling quite tired, quite understandably, after his first round of whatever treatment he's having. We thought that meeting might have gone on a little longer. I hope it was friendly, but we do not know. It would have been quite an awkward meeting, really."

Analyzing the strained relationship between Prince Harry and Prince William, Bond stated that the absence of plans for a meeting by Prince William and Prince Harry's decision to stay in a hotel speak volumes about the distance between them. She added, "William has shown today that he has disowned Harry, he doesn't want to know him, and he probably doesn't even like him anymore. Harry is just not part of his life. That rift is so deep now, and that has been shown by Harry being here and them not meeting, so deep that I really do wonder if it can ever, ever be mended."

Bond also suggested that Prince Harry could have stayed at Clarence House or traveled to Sandringham by car instead of opting for a hotel.
