Meghan Markle Accused of Releasing 2-Year-Old Video as Distraction from Prince Harry's African Parks Scandal Doubts Arise

On February 1, 2024, Archwell released a series of older videos, including their acceptance of the fake Kennedy Pay Play Award from 20122, particularly one addressing the fight against structural racism. The video, filmed two years ago, resurfaced this week, offering fans a glimpse into their cellar, which exuded a somewhat mancave vibe. The central focus of the room was a pool table, surrounded by brickwork adorned with various knickknacks. The couple opted for a combination of wall lights and Shand ear hanging from the ceiling for lighting.

The video was originally recorded for the couple's acceptance speech at the 2022 Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights Ripple of Hope Gala, where Harry and Meghan received the award in December 2022, two months after recording the clip. In their speech, Harry quoted Bobby Kennedy, emphasizing the impact of standing up for ideals and combating injustice, while Meghan added insights about the ripples building a current against oppression.

The timing of the video's release, almost two years after recording, raises questions, especially in light of Prince Harry's African Parks scandal. Critics argue that Archwell is deflecting attention from the abuse scandal by resurfacing old videos, steering conversations towards Meghan's past instead. As of February 3, 2024, the couple has not issued any statements regarding the s-xual abuse scandal, fueling accusations of evasion and hypocrisy.

Critics, including the Royal Rog on X, have reacted strongly to the latest video. The video, shared with a caption noting the wax figures at Madame Tussauds appearing more realistic every day, prompted suggestions that Harry and Meghan looked AI-generated. The couple's credibility has also been called into question following a publicity stunt attending the premiere of Bob Marley One Love in Kingston, Jamaica. Despite claims of spontaneity, a royal expert, Richard Fitz Williams, argues that the appearance was staged, strategically timed to garner publicity during a challenging week for the Royal Family.

Fitz Williams suggests that the appearance, coinciding with King Charles entering the hospital and headlines about the Princess of Wales's recovery from abdominal surgery, was a deliberate ploy by the Sussexes to reinforce their brand. The expert further notes that the posed photos with Andrew Holness, the Prime Minister of Jamaica, may have contributed to reinforcing the perception that the Sussexes cannot be trusted, especially after Holness had previously indicated the country's intention to become a republic during the Sussexes' visit in March 2022.
