The organization, based in London, submitted new paperwork with updated details to Harry, indicating his new residency status as the United States, according to documents obtained by The Daily Mail.
When Harry established Travelist in 2019, his official residence was the United Kingdom. However, with the recent paperwork update, it suggests that Harry has no immediate plans to permanently reside in his native country. Since 2020, Harry and Meghan Markle, along with their children Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, have been residing in Montecito, California. This move, dubbed as their "Megxit" departure, led to their eviction from Frogmore Cottage, a residence gifted to them by the late Queen after their wedding in 2018. They vacated the cottage in 2023, leaving them without an official residency in the UK.
Now, when visiting the UK, they have to rely on accommodations with friends or in hotels, as they no longer have a home there. Harry expressed his sentiment towards their new home in the United States, stating, "Home for me now is in the United States, and it really feels that way too. We've been welcomed with open arms, and we have a great community in Santa Barbara," in a 2022 interview with the Today Show.
