Prince Harry's departure from the UK has resulted in him missing out on a significant role - that's now a missed opportunity. According to a royal expert, the Duke of Sussex was initially slated to undertake a pivotal responsibility before his relocation to the United States and subsequent departure from the royal family.
Charles Ray, a former Royal correspondent for The Sun, shed light on how Prince Harry's decision to leave the UK has impacted his potential role within the monarchy's future. Despite being the second son of the king, Harry's departure has led to him missing out on a significant position.
Speaking on the Publisher's Royal exclusive podcast about the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Ray explained the implications of Harry's departure, particularly concerning his relationship with his brother, Prince William. "Harry and William were very, very close. That's what makes it so sad because now they're so far apart," he remarked. Ray had long held the belief that Harry would serve as one of William's senior advisers once William ascended to the throne, but now he believes that possibility has faded.
"This is what Diana always wanted for the boys - to stay as close as possible. They had each other against the rest of the world. But of course, now that is not happening," he added.
In other developments, Meghan recently launched a new venture titled "American Riviera Orchard," which is believed to be a lifestyle brand. There are indications that her website is set to go live soon, with signs pointing to a launch date coinciding with the shutdown of Meghan's previous blog, The Tig.
