King Charles Bans Prince Harry from UK After Discovering His Alleged Plans

Prince William is said to be taken aback by the ongoing success of Prince Harry's Invictus Games, as their strained relationship continues. Ever since Harry and Meghan Markle stepped down from their royal duties in 2020 and moved to the United States, their ties with the Royal Family, especially with Prince William, have been turbulent. The release of Harry's memoir, titled "Spare," last year further exacerbated the situation between the two brothers.

Despite these circumstances, the Duke of Sussex has continued to achieve remarkable success with the Invictus Games, a sporting event he founded in 2014 for sick and injured military veterans. The international recognition garnered by the Invictus Games has prompted royal historian Ed Owens to question Prince William's perspective on Harry's accomplishments.

Royal commentator Robert Jobson has also suggested that Prince William was taken aback by the success of the Invictus Games, hinting at a possible tinge of jealousy on William's part. However, during a promotional interview for his book "Spare" on Good Morning America, Prince Harry confirmed that there has always been a certain degree of rivalry between him and his brother. Harry is scheduled to return to the UK next week for a special service at St. Paul's Cathedral commemorating the 10-year anniversary of the Invictus Games.

On the other hand, King Charles reportedly felt devastated after receiving a mere 20 minutes' notice about an announcement from Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. According to the royal book "Finding Freedom" by Omid Scobie and Carolyn Durand, Prince Charles was disappointed with the timing of his son's statement confirming his relationship with Meghan.

The book asserts that Prince Harry's team had been planning the announcement for months but its timing overshadowed Prince Charles's tour of the Gulf. Nonetheless, Prince Charles understood that the situation with Meghan had reached a crucial point, even though he was disappointed with the timing of his son's announcement. The relationship between the future king and his younger son has continued to deteriorate over time, particularly following Harry's decision to step back from royal duties and his subsequent criticisms of the monarchy.
