Prince Harry Anticipates Reunion with Army Friends During UK Visit?

To commemorate the 10th anniversary of the Invictus Games, Harry will be in the UK next week. However, according to royal author and expert Tom Quinn, he may not spend much time with his former school or military friends. Quinn claims that these friends represent a part of Harry's past that he prefers not to revisit, especially since they feel "betrayed" by his memoir, Spare, which they believe portrayed military service in an un-military way. They also feel a disconnect with the "new" Harry, whom they perceive as a "tree-hugging" figure with whom they have little in common.

Quinn further states that some of Harry's old friends hold negative opinions about Meghan and attribute the duke's transformation to her influence. They jokingly refer to him as "Harry the Hippy." While a couple of his old clubbing friends have expressed interest in meeting up, Harry is reportedly hesitant due to his awareness of how much he has changed.

As a result, Quinn suggests that Harry will likely spend most of his time in the UK alone, staying in a hotel and frequently communicating with Meghan over the phone. Quinn does not specify which friends Harry may meet or avoid during his visit. However, last year, royal expert Rebecca English mentioned that some individuals in Harry's friendship circle were genuinely disgusted by his disclosures about his family.

It remains uncertain whether Harry will have an opportunity to see his father, King Charles, during this brief trip.
