Prince Harry and Meghan Markle Considering Major Move for Their Future
Meghan Markle, currently living in California with her husband Prince Harry and their two children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, may soon say goodbye to America, according to new reports.
The Duchess of Sussex is reportedly troubled by the outcome of the U.S. election, which saw Donald Trump elected President. Royal commentator Charlotte Griffiths shared insights into Meghan's possible reaction to Trump's victory, suggesting that she may be upset by the prospect of living in America under his leadership.
"Meghan will be really upset to live in America with Trump as president," Griffiths stated. "She really viscerally disliked him for many reasons, and has openly called him a misogynist on television before. So, she might want to leave America."
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, who relocated to the United States in 2020 after stepping back from their royal duties, are reportedly considering a major change in their future plans. There are rumors that the couple has purchased a property in Portugal, potentially signaling their next move.
It’s important to note that Meghan and Harry have remained relatively quiet during this election, especially compared to their outspoken stance in 2020, when they urged voters to "reject hate." In contrast, Donald Trump has made several critical remarks about the Sussexes, particularly regarding their treatment of the late Queen Elizabeth II.
When questioned by Nigel Farage on GB News about whether Harry might receive any special privileges, Trump responded: "No. We’ll have to see if they know something about the drugs, and if he lied, they’ll have to take appropriate action."
Griffiths also weighed in on Harry’s recent purchase of a home in Portugal, suggesting it could play a crucial role in the couple’s future plans. "Harry's just bought a house in Portugal, and it might come in pretty handy in the next few months," she remarked.
Discussing Trump’s past statements about Harry, Griffiths pointed out, "Donald Trump has said that he wouldn't protect Harry. He said Harry would be on his own, and if it were up to him, he wouldn't have any protection. The Heritage Foundation tried to expose his form, and in the end, he was still protected."
Lastly, Griffiths touched on Harry’s visa case, speculating that with Trump back in power, the form could eventually be revealed. "A judge ruled that the form would never be made public, but now that Trump is in power again, I wonder if it will eventually come to light," she said.
With their future in flux, it seems that Harry and Meghan are taking a hard look at what’s next—possibly making some major decisions in the coming months.
