Prince Harry Reportedly "Regrets His Mistakes" as Meghan Markle Enjoys Time with Friends in California
Prince Harry is said to be reflecting on his past actions and is considering reconciliation with the royal family, while Meghan Markle is seen enjoying a lively dance performance with friends in California.
The Duke of Sussex’s recent actions suggest that he may be seeking to mend ties with his father, King Charles, and his brother, Prince William.
Royal biographer Hugo Vickers believes that Prince Harry has learned valuable lessons from his previous criticisms of his family. According to Vickers, individuals in situations like Harry’s often come to regret their actions, and the Duke "would do well to focus on the future and work on rebuilding relationships rather than severing any more."
Praising Harry's recent silence, Vickers commented, "I think it's good that he isn't stirring the pot further."
Speaking to *The Sun*, Vickers continued, “Maybe he’s said everything he needed to say. He hasn’t had much contact with his family lately, and since the Coronation, he’s only been in England for brief visits—such as for the Invictus Games and a few other events. But he hasn’t had a chance to see his family.”
Vickers offered advice to the Duke, remarking, "People in the middle of America don’t respect someone who publicly criticizes their family, especially a father, in a book. That’s simply not the kind of behavior they condone."
Reflecting on King Charles's response to Harry's controversial actions, Vickers praised the monarch for handling the situation with restraint: "The King has acted with remarkable dignity. He hasn’t responded to any of the criticisms. By staying silent, he makes it easier for Harry to find a way back."
Finally, Vickers reiterated his belief that reconciliation is possible, stating, "I’ve said it many times before—if both sides are willing to compromise, reconciliation can always happen."
