Katy Perry’s Fun Christmas Plan for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle
Katy Perry has something special in store for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle this Christmas.
The 40-year-old pop star revealed a delightful holiday tradition she’s planning to share with her neighbors, including the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, who live nearby in Montecito, California.
Perry thrilled her British fans this week by performing her iconic hits at ITV’s *Night of a Lifetime* concert special, which aired on December 21st. She treated viewers to performances of *Firework*, *I Kissed A Girl*, and *Teenage Dream*, and took the opportunity to share details about her own festive traditions.
According to the *Roar* singer, one of her favorite Christmas Eve activities is dressing up as *The Grinch* and caroling for her neighbors. And it looks like Prince Harry and Meghan, who live in the same neighborhood, will be part of the fun.
"We are going to be at home and do something we do every year," Perry explained. "We rent a trolley and dress up to go to all the neighbors’ houses in my hometown. I dress up as The Grinch, which I got from Amazon, and we go caroling. I don’t know if anyone will know it’s me, but we go round people’s houses caroling."
Perry added, "Sometimes there’s hot cocoa, and I’m dressed like The Grinch, so it’s going to be super fun!"
Before her performance, Perry also shared her excitement about returning to London, where she performed in Central Hall Westminster for a special event. "I am SO chuffed to transform Central Hall Westminster for this very cool and cozy evening for my UK fans," she said. "I can’t wait to be back in London, one of my favorite places in the world, for this up close and personal dance party of a LIFETIME."
The performance comes after Perry faced criticism over her new album, *143*, which failed to top the charts and received negative reviews from music experts. However, this festive tradition and her London performance are sure to lift her spirits during the holiday season.
