The alleged feud dates back to 2018 when the Duchess of Sussex seemingly accused the former Spice Girl of leaking sensitive information to the press. Since then, the Beckhams have distanced themselves from the Sussexes, with the two families no longer speaking.
Years after the initial fallout, sources reveal that Meghan “genuinely wants to heal any lingering issues,” and that Victoria is “not opposed” to reconciliation. However, David Beckham remains firm in his stance, unwilling to let go of the anger, particularly after his wife was hurt by the false allegations.
“Victoria has actually been much more forgiving than people realise,” an insider told *InTouch Weekly*. “She was really hurt by the accusations that she was spreading gossip, as that’s the last thing she would ever do.”
The source further explained that while Victoria has mellowed over time, especially with Meghan reaching out to mend things, David and their three sons—Brooklyn, Romeo, and Cruz—are still holding a “major grudge.”
“They’re incredibly protective of her and feel she shouldn’t give Meghan or Harry another chance,” the insider continued. “They’re offended and angry on her behalf, and they think she’s being too kind about it all. As far as they’re concerned, there’s no going back.”
