Prince Harry’s UK Plans Face Major Setback Amid High Court Trial
Prince William and Kate Middleton seem to be breathing a sigh of relief following Prince Harry's recent decision regarding his anticipated UK visit.
As the royal family returns to their official duties, Prince Harry was expected to make a trip back to his home country to attend his legal battle against the publishers of *The Sun*.
However, Meghan Markle has opted to stay in the United States with the couple's two children, Prince Archie, five, and Princess Lilibet, three. Despite plans for the Duke of Sussex to be present in the UK, he ultimately did not make the journey. The trial, initially scheduled to begin on Wednesday, faced delays.
Royal experts suggest this turn of events may have been welcomed by the Prince and Princess of Wales. According to Hilary Fordwich, a commentator on royal affairs, William and Kate are content with the current distance between themselves and the Sussexes.
“Prince William and Catherine are reportedly relieved to maintain some separation from Meghan Markle, which helps avoid any potential controversies in the future,” Fordwich shared with *Fox News Digital*.
Meanwhile, Meghan Markle is focusing on her upcoming Netflix series, part of her rebranding efforts for the Sussexes. Yet, insiders say this is far from the minds of William and Kate, who remain dedicated to their royal responsibilities.
“Stability and service are the core values for the Prince and Princess of Wales as they look toward a life of commitment to their duties,” Fordwich explained. “In contrast, the Sussexes’ Netflix deals don’t align with these priorities.”
