Prince Harry Urged to Abandon Social Media as Meghan Markle Faces 'Difficult Predicament'
Prince Harry’s wife, Meghan Markle, has been advised to steer clear of social media to avoid potential challenges surrounding her upcoming ventures.
The Duchess of Sussex, who marked the start of 2025 by launching a new Instagram account, has reportedly found herself in a “very difficult predicament” as she prepares for the release of her upcoming cookery show. A public relations expert has suggested that Meghan should leave social media behind and allow Netflix to handle the promotional efforts for the series.
The 43-year-old former actress, who recently returned to social media under the handle @meghan, had posted the trailer for her show on Instagram before the announcement of its rescheduling. The cookery series, titled *With Love, Meghan*, is now set to premiere on March 4 after being delayed due to the California wildfires.
Fiona Minett, a PR expert, shared her insights with *Express UK*, recommending that Meghan refrain from posting further updates about her show on social media. Minett explained, “It is a very difficult predicament that Meghan finds herself in, although perhaps one of her own making. Breaking form from her usual pattern of 'drop and run' promotion—which creates huge impact while maintaining an air of mystery—could expose her to criticism she might prefer to avoid.”
Minett elaborated on the challenges, noting, “She hasn’t regularly posted on social media to support her post-royal ventures. Given that every announcement or post attracts massive attention—and often backlash—it’s clear she’s navigating a tricky situation. She’s probably caught between a rock and a hard place.”
Despite the challenges, Prince Harry is reportedly standing by Meghan’s side, fully supporting her efforts and projects. His unwavering backing has been a consistent source of strength for the Duchess as she embarks on new endeavors.
As the countdown to *With Love, Meghan* continues, all eyes remain on how Meghan navigates the balance between public promotion and personal privacy.
