Meghan Markle Seen Arriving with Bags of Donations Amid California Wildfires

Meghan Markle Volunteers at Los Angeles Charity Supporting Teen Girls Affected by Wildfires

Meghan Markle was spotted volunteering at a Los Angeles charity dedicated to helping teenage girls impacted by the ongoing wildfires, just days after her previous community outreach efforts.

On Monday, the Duchess of Sussex, 43, arrived at the Altadena Teen Girls charity, bringing bags of donations from her Archewell Foundation, which she co-founded with Prince Harry. The donations included clothing and beauty products designed to assist young girls who have been affected by the devastating wildfires in the Los Angeles area.

Footage shared by the organization showed Meghan arriving alone, wearing her signature LA black cap and ready to support the local initiative. This marked her second volunteer appearance in less than a week as wildfires continue to wreak havoc on the region.

Altadena Teen Girls was founded by 14-year-old Avery Colvert, who started the organization to help young girls in her community who lost their homes in the Eaton Canyon fire. Avery shared her mission with the *Los Angeles Times*, saying, “I started this to help girls affected specifically by the Eaton Canyon fire who lost their homes feel like themselves and feel confident again.” She continued, “They've lost everything, and I want them to feel a sense of normalcy when nothing else in their life is normal.”

The organization’s goal is to help these young girls regain their confidence and sense of self in the wake of such overwhelming loss.

During her visit, Meghan took the time to engage with the volunteers and families at the charity, providing lunch and offering hands-on support. She helped the girls with shopping and spent time interacting with the community members, showing her dedication to the cause.

The charity expressed their gratitude on Instagram, posting, “Thank you to everyone who showed up on Monday, which was such a special day! We love you!” The video shared by the organization showed Meghan in conversation with Avery and other participants while delivering the donations.

*Town and Country* magazine reported that Meghan actively participated in conversations with families throughout her time at the center, offering comfort and assistance wherever needed.

This volunteer visit follows the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s appearance at the Pasadena Community Centre on January 10, where they helped distribute supplies to victims of the fires.
