Thomas Markle Drops Bombshell About Meghan Markle’s Marriage Amid Prince Harry Drama
Thomas Markle, estranged from his daughter Meghan Markle since before her marriage to Prince Harry in 2018, has made a stunning revelation about his daughter’s past.
The Duchess of Sussex recently returned to social media with a surprise announcement about her Netflix show, *With Love, Meghan*. She had previously accused her father of lying about speaking to the media during her relationship with Prince Harry, calling it a “betrayal.”
While much about Meghan’s life before Prince Harry remains private, Thomas shared rare insights into her first marriage with Hollywood producer Trevor Engelson, whom she was married to from 2011 to 2014.
“I really liked Trevor,” the 80-year-old father said, showing videos of his daughter’s first wedding laid out on a table. “I don’t think he ever understood why she dumped him, either.”
Thomas also revealed plans to leave the United States for good, expressing his desire to settle in Southeast Asia to find “kinder people” after facing multiple health scares.
When discussing his relationship with Meghan, he made it clear he wasn’t “fleeing” from her or her children, five-year-old Prince Archie and three-year-old Princess Lilibet, whom he has yet to meet.
Despite Meghan holding a grudge against him, Thomas emphasized that his door would always be open for her.
