Meghan Markle and Prince Harry Struggling with Fresh Claims and Negative Press
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are reportedly in a great deal of pain, trying to navigate new claims made about them.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, who have consistently shown their strong bond in an effort to dispel rumors about their relationship, are said to be upset after learning about fresh allegations published in a well-known magazine.
Kinsey Schofield, speaking on Sky News Australia, shared what she’s hearing from sources in LA about how the couple is coping following Vanity Fair’s latest cover story.
“The word I’m hearing is that they’re upset over it,” Schofield said, hinting at the emotional toll the couple is facing.
She also shed light on the situation at the Sussexes' Montecito mansion, revealing that things aren’t going well for them at the moment: “I’ve been told it’s not great for them right now, especially with Meghan’s show being delayed. I’ve heard that was Netflix’s decision. She’s worked so hard on rebranding herself, and then here comes a respected publication rehashing some of the most negative claims about her.”
Schofield continued, offering her perspective on the couple’s emotional state: “I think they’re bruised. They’re sitting back, trying to figure out how to move forward. But I think their decision to go out and have their photo taken in the middle of those devastating fires didn’t do them any favors. They’re in a bad place right now.”
Sources close to the couple have suggested that the new claims are taking a significant toll on them. This comes just a week after the couple was labeled "disaster tourists" by actor Justine Bateman and others.
Outspoken British TV presenter Piers Morgan also took a harsh jab at Prince Harry after their visit to the wildfire victims in Los Angeles.
In an interview with *The Daily Telegraph*, Morgan, host of *Uncensored*, said, “I think it’s purely for self-promotion.”
Amid the raging wildfires in and around Los Angeles, the Sussexes made a brief appearance at an evacuation center for about 17 minutes, an event many criticized as a “photo op” alongside Pasadena Mayor Victor M. Gordo.
