Prince Harry Under Scrutiny for Blanket Statements Against the British Press
Prince Harry has once again come under fire for his sweeping criticisms of the British press, particularly regarding journalists who don’t resort to illegal methods to obtain information about the royal family.
Royal commentator Camilla Tominey took aim at Prince Harry’s remarks in her latest piece for *The Telegraph*. She opened her commentary by highlighting the divide between "Harry and Meghan’s truth" and "everyone else’s."
Ms. Tominey also expressed skepticism over the idea of a vendetta against the Sussexes. "Really?" she questioned, pointing out that before the bullying allegations and reports of staffers leaving in large numbers, publications had actually hailed Meghan as "a breath of fresh air."
This led to her second question: "What were we supposed to do—ignore all this and only tell one side of the story?" she wrote. "That’s not journalism."
She wrapped up her piece by admitting that she leaves such "propaganda" to the "Sussex Squadders" active on social media.
