Kate Middleton has left royal fans speculating about the possibility of a fourth baby with Prince William after the recent addition to the royal family.
With the Palace celebrating Princess Beatrice's newborn baby girl, many are eagerly wondering if Kate and William are considering expanding their family. Fans are particularly curious after recent photos of Kate with her children, which have fueled rumors that she might be preparing for a new arrival.
On Thursday, Princess Catherine, who recently triumphed in her year-long battle with cancer, visited a hospice for children in Wales. Body language expert Judi James, as reported by *Daily Mail*, noted that Kate's warm and immersive demeanor quickly created a strong connection with both the children and their parents, showing visible emotion during her interactions.
"She crouches down as low as possible to meet the very smallest children eye-to-eye for what looks like a long time, and we can see her fun, open-mouth expressions aimed at making them smile," Ms. James explained.
However, while Kate has been making headlines, the Princess of Wales has frequently discussed her and William's family plans in the past. In 2023, her subtle comments suggested that the couple is content with their three children and has no plans to add another.
A recent exchange between Kate and Rebecca Mistry, Co-CEO of The Baby Bank, sparked further discussion. While looking at infant clothing, Mistry mentioned how people often get “baby fever” from seeing the tiny outfits. "Whereas I look at them and think I don’t want to go through that again," she said. Kate seemed to agree with a laugh, responding, "I’ve been there and done that."
Prince William also made his thoughts on a fourth child clear during a joint event at Clitheroe Community Hospital in Lancashire. Teasing the staff, he said, “Don’t give my wife any more ideas!” He also joked to Kate, after she handed a baby girl back to her parents, "Don’t take her with you."
Kate herself has publicly acknowledged her husband's reluctance to expand their family. During a royal engagement in Yorkshire in January 2020, she told a fan, “I don’t think William wants any more.”
