UK Win Secures Prince Harry a New Royal Title

The Duke of Sussex's Latest Settlement Brings Him New Titles

Prince Harry has once again found himself in the headlines, this time for receiving a new title following his legal settlement with UK publishers. The Duke of Sussex, known for his bold moves since stepping back from royal duties, surprised many with his decision to resolve the case out of court.

While some suggest the royal family may feel relieved by Harry's choice to avoid further conflict, royal commentators were far less forgiving. Critic Emma Woolf did not hold back, delivering a sharp critique of the Duke’s settlement with the media group.

Speaking with GB News, Woolf labeled Harry's out-of-court agreement as "absolute, total and utter hypocrisy." She argued that the settlement undermines Harry’s previous claims of holding the media accountable. "He told the world barely six weeks ago that he would hold the media accountable, and guess what, he settled. You couldn't make it up," Woolf remarked.

Woolf suggested the decision was likely driven by financial concerns, pointing out the significant legal costs that could have been avoided with the settlement.

David Sherborne, representing the Duke, confirmed the resolution during court proceedings, stating: "I am pleased to announce to the court that the parties have reached an agreement."

However, Woolf reserved some of her harshest criticism for Harry’s broader approach to privacy—a key reason cited by him and Meghan Markle when stepping back from royal life. "When they flounced out of the Royal Family, they cited privacy as one of their main concerns," Woolf said, adding that their actions since then have contradicted this claim.

She went on to accuse Harry of capitalizing on royal connections for personal gain. "They’ve alienated themselves from their families, exploited their royal ties, and pursued money, fame, and publicity," Woolf concluded.

The settlement has sparked yet another round of debate about Prince Harry’s decisions, his approach to privacy, and his complex relationship with both the royal family and the media.
