Meghan Markle Shares Rare Insight into Archie and Lilibet After Her Return

Prince Harry Gets a Heartfelt Message as Meghan Markle Returns Home from Canada

Meghan Markle shared an adorable update about her two children, Prince Archie, 5, and Princess Lilibet, 3, as Prince Harry remains in Canada to wrap up the Invictus Games.

The Duchess of Sussex returned to California on Wednesday after attending the initial days of the Invictus Games to support her husband. The trip was reportedly preplanned, allowing Meghan to reunite with her children at their Montecito home while Harry stayed behind to oversee the event’s conclusion.

In a sweet Instagram Story, Meghan gave fans a glimpse of the thoughtful gifts she brought back for Archie and Lilibet. “A taste of Canada and The Invictus Games for our little ones! Cheering you on from home!” she wrote, showcasing her support for Harry from afar.

The royal children received special presents from fans and participants of the Invictus Games. Team Nigeria, in particular, gifted the Sussex family custom jerseys during the wheelchair basketball event in Vancouver. The jerseys, personalized with the names of Harry, Meghan, Archie, and Lilibet, were a heartfelt gesture that left the couple touched.

“We did one for him and one for her and for the kids,” Nigerian team manager Derrick Cobbinah told *People Magazine*. “They said they would be excited to have them. She was very, very excited.”

Meghan made sure the jerseys and other treats from Canada made it home to her children, who were thrilled with the thoughtful souvenirs.

It remains unclear whether Meghan will return to Canada for the closing ceremony of the Invictus Games. For security reasons, details about her travel plans are being kept private.

As Prince Harry continues to champion the Invictus Games and its mission to support wounded veterans, Meghan’s update highlights the couple’s dedication to balancing their public roles with their responsibilities as parents. The Sussex family’s connection to the event and their commitment to raising compassionate, globally aware children shines through in these heartwarming moments.
