The Duke of Sussex, who recently stayed in Canada to wrap up the Invictus Games while his wife, Meghan Markle, returned to their California home, shared heartfelt insights into the challenges of parenting curious minds.
During an interview with *People Magazine*, Harry revealed that his children are particularly fascinated by the participants of the Invictus Games. These conversations often lead to deeper discussions about the physical and emotional challenges faced by the athletes.
“They’re fascinated to learn more about the people at the games, which sparks some very interesting conversations,” Harry explained. “Trying to explain why someone is missing a leg or an arm, or why they look a certain way, can be challenging but incredibly important.”
He emphasized that Archie, in particular, is full of questions. “As any parent knows, once you open that door and start answering those questions, more and more doors begin to open,” Harry said. “He starts asking, ‘How did they get injured? What’s a mine? What’s all this?’ It’s like opening Pandora’s box, especially with kids this age. They have no filter and are just so curious and inquisitive.”
Harry added with a smile, “They want to know more, more, more.”
The Invictus Games, founded by Prince Harry in 2014, were created to help wounded, injured, and sick servicemen and women recover and rebuild their lives through sports. As a former captain in the British Army, Harry has always been passionate about supporting veterans and raising awareness about their struggles.
