Aaron Korsh Says Meghan Markle Has an ‘Open Invitation’ to Return to Suits
If Meghan Markle ever wants to step back into the world of *Suits*, the door is always open.
At the *Suits: LA* premiere in California on February 20, series creator Aaron Korsh addressed the possibility of the Duchess of Sussex making a cameo in the franchise.
“Obviously, if Meghan wants to come back under any circumstances, Meghan can come back,” Korsh told *People* magazine, emphasizing that she has an “open invitation.”
However, he acknowledged that bringing Markle back—either as her original character, Rachel Zane, or even as herself—might not seamlessly fit into the show's storyline.
“We have thought about whether it be Meghan or any of the other cast members coming on and playing themselves as an actor,” he explained. “For me, that’s a little… my brain blows up at the thought of that.”
*Suits: LA* is set to premiere on February 23, introducing a fresh cast while remaining within the same universe as the original hit legal drama. The spinoff arrives at a time when *Suits* has experienced a massive resurgence on Netflix, bringing renewed attention to the series years after Markle’s departure in 2018.
Markle played paralegal-turned-lawyer Rachel Zane from season 1, appearing in 108 episodes before leaving at the end of season 7. Her final episode aired in April 2018, just weeks before her royal wedding to Prince Harry.
While a *Suits* comeback for Markle remains uncertain, fans can still revisit her time on the show as the franchise continues to evolve.
