Meghan Markle is all about cherishing the small, everyday moments with her daughter, Princess Lilibet.
In the first episode of her new podcast, Confessions of a Female Founder*, Meghan shared a special peek into life with her three-year-old daughter, whom she shares with Prince Harry.
While chatting with Whitney Wolfe Herd, the founder of Bumble, Meghan explained that Princess Lilibet still takes naps and only goes to preschool for half the day. It’s a schedule Meghan loves because it keeps her close to her little girl.
“If Lilibet wakes up and wants me, she knows where I am—even if I’m in my office with the door closed,” Meghan said.
She went on, “Sometimes she’ll sit on my lap during a meeting, with all the executives on a video call grid. I wouldn’t change it for anything.”
The mom of two also talked about how much she enjoys working from home at their Montecito mansion. It’s where she’s building her new lifestyle brand, As Ever, while still being there for her kids.
“I don’t want to miss out on those moments,” Meghan shared. “I want to be there for pickup and drop-off whenever I can.”
She added, “Technology makes it so easy for parents. Why sit at a desk when I can think just as clearly in the carpool line?”
