Prince Harry's Legal Response to 'Feud with Prince Andrew' Claims
Prince Harry is once again turning to his lawyers after shocking new claims surfaced in a royal book, alleging that he once physically fought his uncle, Prince Andrew, and gave him a "bloody nose" during a heated argument back in 2013.
The book, titled Entitled: The Rise and Fall of the House of York by royal author Andrew Lownie, also includes another eyebrow-raising claim — that Prince Andrew allegedly told Harry his marriage to Meghan Markle wouldn't last "more than a month."
But Harry’s team isn’t staying silent. A spokesperson for the Duke of Sussex strongly denied these accusations, calling them "gross inaccuracies." They made it clear that there was no fight between Harry and Andrew, and that nothing like those comments about Meghan was ever said.
In response, Andrew Lownie defended his book, saying his source is reliable and that he has "no reason to make this up." He even suggested the story sounded similar to Harry’s admitted fight with his brother Prince William — making the story “believable” in his eyes.
But Harry isn’t having it. According to Newsweek, his lawyers have now sent a legal letter to the Daily Mail, the outlet that published parts of the book. The letter accuses the story of being damaging, defamatory, and entirely false.
While it’s not clear yet whether Harry will file a full lawsuit, this move shows he's still very much willing to protect his reputation, especially when stories involve his family or his relationship with Meghan.
This legal action comes after Harry has recently wrapped up or stepped back from several other lawsuits — winning some and dropping others. Whether this turns into another high-profile court case remains to be seen.
