Prince William and Kate Middleton are planning to move into a much larger house called Forest Lodge in Windsor. While this is an exciting upgrade for the royal couple, the move is creating problems for some of the people who currently live nearby.
Why Residents Are Upset
Some families who live in cottages close to Forest Lodge were reportedly told they have to move out to make space for the royals. A source explained that the homes are too close to the new royal residence, and the palace likely doesn’t want ordinary neighbors right next to the future king and queen.
People were surprised because they were not expecting to be asked to leave. Even though they may have been offered another place to live, many still feel it was unfair and sudden.
