Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s future remains uncertain amid claims they have “nothing left to offer.”
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are once again facing criticism, this time from royal biographer Tom Bower. During a recent appearance on the Kinsey Schofield Unfiltered podcast, Bower argued that the couple has largely framed their public image around grievances stemming from their time within the royal family.
Bower stated, “The main issue for Meghan and Harry is that their narrative now revolves entirely around victimhood and the story they’ve created. There’s little else they can contribute.”
He went on to explain, “There’s nothing new she can reveal, and that’s the crux of the situation: their presence poses a challenge to the royal family. Their continued relevance depends on criticizing the monarchy and highlighting negative experiences.”
The author also suggested that the couple’s potential to harm the royal family has reached its limit, raising a pressing question: “How will they sustain the high-cost lifestyle they’ve built? That’s the key point. A crisis is approaching, but the path to it remains unclear.”
Bower further emphasized that their ongoing criticisms have made it nearly impossible for Harry and Meghan to reconcile with the royal household.
“They are on a steep downward trajectory, which is captivating for the public: how will this story conclude? What form will the ultimate fallout take?” he added, highlighting the uncertainty surrounding the couple’s next moves.
