Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are set to begin a four-day visit to Australia starting Tuesday, marking another high-profile international engagement for the couple.
During their stay, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex will travel across major cities including Melbourne, Canberra, and Sydney, where they are expected to take part in a series of public and charitable appearances.
Reports suggest that their itinerary will include visits to a children’s hospital, along with engagements focused on veterans’ welfare and mental health awareness, as reported by 7News Sydney. These causes have long been central to the couple’s public work.
Meghan Markle is also expected to visit a women’s homeless shelter, highlighting issues related to social support and housing insecurity. Meanwhile, Prince Harry is scheduled to attend events at an AFL club in Melbourne and also appear at a rugby union match in Sydney.
In addition, Meghan is reportedly set to speak at a luxury women’s retreat held at the International Hotel in Coogee, Sydney, further emphasizing themes of empowerment and wellbeing.
Since stepping back from their roles as senior working royals in 2020, the couple has been residing in the United States. They currently live in California with their two children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.
Prince Archie was born in the United Kingdom before the couple officially stepped away from royal duties, while Princess Lilibet was born in California in 2021 after their relocation.
