Meghan Markle is reportedly steering clear of any tell-all memoirs, choosing to remain careful and respectful when it comes to revealing details about the Royal Family.
Sources claim the Duchess has declined several lucrative offers to write a book about her life within the monarchy. Although publishers believe such a memoir could surpass the success of Prince Harry’s 2023 bestseller Spare, Meghan has made it clear she isn’t interested.
According to insiders who spoke with Us Weekly, a revealing autobiography simply “is not something she wants to pursue,” and these kinds of projects fall outside what she and Harry are willing to take on.
Even though experts say Meghan holds significant earning power in this area — and that a tell-all would be extremely profitable — she still prefers to avoid it.
“It would be hugely lucrative,” the source noted, but Meghan remains firm in her decision.
The insider added that the Sussexes remain cautious about any public-facing work, staying mindful of how their actions could affect the monarchy.
They explained that Meghan and Harry “do everything they can to avoid upsetting the royals,” and partners who work with the couple understand that certain boundaries must be respected.
However, those same boundaries can restrict creativity.
The insider said the pair insist on full creative control and the final say over any project — but the limits on what they can disclose often narrow what’s possible.
