Prince William Warned the Royal Family About Prince Andrew Years Before the Scandal

Prince William reportedly believed that Prince Andrew no longer belonged in the royal fold following his infamous interview — and it appears his concerns surfaced long before Andrew’s reputation collapsed publicly.

According to a new report, the Prince of Wales recognized early warning signs about his uncle’s conduct, long before Andrew was stripped of his titles and faced the fallout from his connections to Jeffrey Epstein.

Royal editor Russell Myers revealed that William strongly disapproved of Andrew’s behavior, describing him as entitled and dismissive, particularly toward palace staff. Myers explained that several sources confirmed William’s frustration, noting that Andrew’s attitude clashed with the values William and Kate Middleton emphasize within their own household.

“It became very clear from multiple people I interviewed for the book that William always felt his uncle behaved like an ignoramus,” Myers said. He added that William had serious concerns about the way Andrew treated those who worked for him, including what he saw as an unhealthy sense of privilege.

“This mindset is the complete opposite of how William and Catherine operate,” Myers noted. “They are deeply committed to fostering a respectful, supportive, and positive working atmosphere for their staff.”
