The Sunday Times has already published an excerpt from the book to warm up the atmosphere in which it is deduced how the royal sisters-in-law got along.
"Although it was not her responsibility, Kate did little to build bridges", could be read in this passage, which delved into the differences between the brothers, princes William and Enrique, a situation that did not favor Kate and Meghan forging a friendship. The book's authors, Omid Scobie and Carolyn Durand, were members of the royal press team and privileged witnesses to the former actress's landing at Buckingham Palace.
Kate and Meghan: more than enmity, indifference

'Finding freedom' includes interviews with friends of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, who have distanced themselves from the publication, assuring through a spokesperson that they have neither spoken with the authors nor have contributed in any way.
The published text also indicates that, contrary to what is usually thought, it was Harry and not Meghan who wanted to take a step back regarding her status in the Royal Family. This controversial decision had been hanging around the head of the youngest of Charles of England's children for a while, and the initiative gained strength because, apparently, he did not feel supported by the Windsors in the controversies that arose around his relationship with his wife. She, according to the book's authors, gives up more than we can imagine to fit in.
