The document, reported for the first time by CNN, notes that Ivanka Trump, the president's eldest daughter and senior adviser to the White House, was heard by the US Attorney General's Office. The accusation is of an alleged waste of funds from the non-profit organization. The committee reportedly spent more than $ 1 million in improper payments, including at the Trump Hotel in Washington, during the opening week in 2017.
The interrogation yesterday, December 2, was conducted under oath by District of Columbia Attorney General Karl Racine. Several witnesses had already been questioned in November, including Tom Barrack, chairman of the inauguration committee. The prosecutor has issued requests for access to the records against a number of figures and personalities close to Trump, including first lady Melania.
