Jennifer Lawrence suffers a face wound while filming her new movie

Actress Jennifer Lawrence injured her face from a broken glass on the set of her new movie that will premiere on Netflix.

Jennifer Lawrence is shooting Don't Look Up, a Netflix movie written and directed by Adam McKay that is about two low-level astronomers, who must go on a giant media tour to warn humanity that a meteor is approaching and if it hits the Earth it will destroy it.

Along with actress Jennifer Lawrence, the cast also includes stars of the level of Leonardo DiCaprio, Timothée Chalamet, Cate Blanchett, Meryl Streep and Jonah Hill. So it will surely be one of the great premieres of this year on the streaming platform.

They have reported that during the filming of Do n’t Look Up some mishap has occurred, since Jennifer Lawrence has hurt her face. But it seems like it hasn't been anything too serious, though production was halted for a day after a rigged window blast during a restaurant scene went awry. The actress was hit by some broken glass. The Oscar-winning performer reportedly required medical attention for a cut over her eye, but she is expected to return to filming on Monday after taking the weekend to recover.

These injuries are more common than it seems.

Even if all measures are taken, in many Hollywood productions the actors or their stuntmen suffer injuries like what happened to Jennifer Lawrence. For example, Tom Cruise often does very risky action scenes and often ends up injured on the set of the Mission Impossible movies. Also recently Henry Cavill had to stop filming The Witcher because he hurt his leg.
