Miley Cyrus's wardrobe malfunction on new year's eve on live TV
Talk about the arrival of the New Year in a jiffy.
Miley Cyrus strutted her way through a wardrobe malfunction when her blouse nearly fell off as she sang “Party In The USA” on her live special “Miley's New Year's Eve. Party ".
The moment Miley Cyrus realized that her silver top wasn't ready for “Party in the USA” on New Years Eve.
The 29-year-old was already holding the top of her when she began the song, but she was barely able to finish the first line before viewers could see that one of the straps had come off.
Cyrus laughed and was a total pro as he quickly turned his back on the crowd, which probably helped NBC executives breathe a sigh of relief.
She even continued singing as she strutted topless to the back of the stage for a quick change.
Founder Happy Hippie had the support of his band and backing singers who didn't miss a beat and kept the show going.
Cyrus was off stage for less than 30 seconds before returning in a red jacket that she had worn earlier in the show.
“Everyone is definitely looking at me now,” she joked, modifying the lyrics to “Party in the USA” slightly as a reference to the wardrobe malfunction as the crowd cheered.
"I'm still in the most clothing I've ever worn on stage," she added, seemingly unfazed by the incident.
The televised event was co-hosted by "Saturday Night Live" star Pete Davidson, who joined Cyrus for a performance of Will Smith's "Miami" during the show.
