Meghan Markle and Prince Harry Not Expected to Have Role at King Charles' Coronation?

The upcoming coronation of King Charles III promises to be a grand affair, with the entire Royal Family gearing up to participate in the event.

Reports suggest that each member of the family will have a significant role to play, including Prince William and Kate Middleton's three children. However, it seems that Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have not been given any role by the monarch to play at this historic ceremony.

While Buckingham Palace has not yet confirmed the exact roles that each member of the family will play, there are a few certainties. King Charles III and his wife Camilla will be crowned at Westminster Abbey, with Camilla wearing Queen Mary's Crown, which was previously used by the late Queen Mother.

Camilla's five grandchildren have also been given a role to play in the ceremony. They have been asked to hold the canopy over their grandmother during the anointing ceremony. Prince William is expected to play a crucial role and will likely pledge his allegiance to his father and kneel before him. He will also participate in the procession and occupy a key position on the balcony.

Kate Middleton will also be playing a significant role, along with her husband, among the few working royals participating in the ceremony. The young prince, George, who is second-in-line to the throne, will accompany his parents in the carriage behind the King and Queen Consort. Meanwhile, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis are also expected to participate in the royal procession.

However, Prince Harry, Meghan Markle, and their children do not seem to have any major role in the coronation. It is unclear whether they will even attend the event. Even if they do, reports suggest that they will not hold any official roles in the ceremony. According to experts, the coronation is all about royal hierarchy, and the visual messaging through costumes and carriages will remind us who the future King and Queen are.
