On Saturday, royal author and journalist Omid Scobie expressed his
criticism towards an English tabloid for publishing a story on how Prince Harry
became more socially aware after marrying Meghan Markle.
Scobie, who is a close friend of the couple and the author of their unauthorized biography, Finding Freedom, also slammed the British royal family for pandering to the newspaper.
In his comments, he pointed out that while there were a plethora of newsworthy events happening, the Mail - which he referred to as the Sussexes’ "psycho ex" - chose to publish stale gossip about their dietary habits.
Scobie questioned when the Palace, which he claimed was still "exhaustingly" courting this publication, would realize that their association with the tabloid was tarnishing their image.
Meanwhile, Scobie is busy writing another book on Prince Harry, Meghan Markle and the royal family.
