British comedy icon John Cleese confirmed that he empathizes with Meghan and Harry. During an interview with GB News, the esteemed Monty Python star expressed his sympathy, stating, "Yes, I do have sympathy for them [Prince Harry and Meghan Markle]."
Cleese went on to share that if given the choice, he would opt to have dinner with the couple rather than the Royal Family or ex-Royal Family members.
Cleese's endorsement of Meghan and Harry came shortly after a gathering in Montecito, where the royal couple dined with notable personalities such as American actress Gwyneth Paltrow, her husband and TV producer Brad Falchuk, as well as Cameron Diaz and her husband Benji Madden.
It is worth noting that King Charles was officially crowned on May 6, an event that Prince Harry attended without his wife Meghan and their children Archie and Lilibet.
