Despite being named a national winner in the digital media category at the 49th Gracie Awards, Meghan Markle chose not to attend. Lee Sansum, in defense of her decision, praised her for making a wise choice, considering the relentless pursuit by the paparazzi.
Speaking to Fox News Digital, he mentioned how people would go to great lengths to provoke a chase just to capture a photo. He even suggested employing decoy vehicles to distract them and ensure a reaction.
Sansum further stated that if he were advising Meghan on security matters, he would have recommended her to let the situation cool down and avoid attending the ceremony. His advice would be to leave it behind for the time being.
The Gracie Awards ceremony, where all these events unfolded, was held in Beverly Hills on May 23rd.
