Piers Morgan urged to worry about Harry court case

It seems that Piers Morgan is understandably anxious about what Prince Harry might say about him when he takes the stand in a UK court next month.

A royal expert has stated that Morgan is worried because he is at the center of Prince Harry’s case against Mirror Group Newspapers (MGN) for illegal information gathering.

The Duke of Sussex’s legal aid, David Sherborne, wrote in a submission to the court that Morgan played a key role in the case against MGN.

Despite Prince Harry's accusations, Morgan has repeatedly denied any involvement in the illegal information gathering and phone hacking that MGN has been accused of.

Morgan told BBC’s Amol Rajan that he never hacked a phone, and that there is no evidence to suggest that he had any knowledge of the matter.

However, according to The Daily Beast’s Tom Sykes, Morgan is concerned about what Prince Harry may say in court because he has frequently spoken out against the Duke and Duchess of Sussex in recent years.

Sykes has also claimed that Prince Harry's legal team may have several anecdotes to use against Morgan.

In one of his published diaries, Morgan shared how journalists on his paper used voicemail interception, and Newsnight’s Jeremy Paxman previously testified to the Leveson inquiry that Morgan had instructed him on how to hack a phone in 2002.

All of this suggests that Morgan has reason to be apprehensive about what Prince Harry may say in court, and it remains to be seen how the case will unfold.
