Prince Harry & Meghan Furious with King Charles over Trooping the Colour Snub: Massive Blow and Ban

Prince Harry and Meghan are reportedly furious that King Charles banned them from his birthday event. They're the first royal children to not be invited by their father for Trooping the Colour. His Majesty, who is celebrating his birthday parade on Saturday, has not extended an invitation to the Sussexes.

Royal expert Richard Eden notes that this decision reflects Megan and Harry's future in the royal household. In his column, Eden said, "Prince Harry and Meghan have not been invited to the King's birthday parade. It'll be the first time in Harry's life that he's not been welcome at the Monarch's official birthday celebrations."

Reacting to the reports, one commenter stated, "King Charles and the royal family shouldn't invite these two as all they do is complain and cause drama. They spoil the mood of a happy celebration with their constant whining and making every occasion and situation about them.

There's a dark shadow around Megan and Harry, and they ruin everything." Another commenter added, "They've repeatedly shown their disrespect and dislike of all things royal. They shouldn't be invited to anything. Actions have consequences." Lady Colin Campbell also welcomed King Charles's decision and referred to the Duke of Sussex as a viper.

She said, "I'm in with due respect, Harry is a viper, and Charles would have had to be totally insane to invite them. Harry has shown that he's utterly disloyal and has absolutely no regard for anything that supports the monarchy." Furthermore, tensions escalated when King Charles declined financial support to Meghan Markle.

A massive blow came from Prince Charles, who informed Harry that he couldn't afford to pay Megan as a member of the royal family, as he was already supporting Camilla and William's expanding brood.

According to Robert Jobson's book, Harry was infuriated by this decision. The book claims that one of the early disagreements between father and son was sparked when Harry's requests for money were no longer answered by Charles, leading to an argument. Charles told the queen that he wasn't a bank when she inquired why he hadn't given in to Harry's demands.

Daniella Elsa commented that King Charles's approach in dealing with the Sussexes is a double-edged sword. The earlier decision to remove their HRH titles has left King Charles with little room to maneuver, as he no longer has leverage.

She added that cutting the Duke and Duchess loose and depriving them of their HRH titles, along with removing them from their UK home, has limited Charles's influence. The loss of those titles may have impacted the marketability of the Sussexes, but it has also freed Harry from royal constraints. In hindsight, the decision to protect the monarchy by stripping them of their HRH titles has turned out to be a double-edged sword.
