Brooklyn Beckham’s Rosé Triumph Leaves Meghan Markle’s ARO Wine in the Dust!

Brooklyn Beckham’s Rosé Triumph Leaves Meghan Markle’s ARO Wine in the Dust!

Ah, the fascinating world of celebrity career shifts—where you can be a model one day, a chef the next, and somehow evolve into a wine connoisseur by the end of the week. Enter Brooklyn Beckham and Meghan Markle, two high-profile names whose career choices are as varied as they are puzzling. While Brooklyn may not have settled on one profession yet, he’s certainly giving it his all, and in a surprising twist, he seems to be outshining Meghan at her own game.

Brooklyn Beckham, the eldest son of David and Victoria Beckham, has had the privilege of doors opening for him in nearly every industry imaginable. From photography to cooking, and even a hot sauce line, Brooklyn has dabbled in a bit of everything. Now, he’s added "wine enthusiast" to his ever-growing résumé.

In a video for Sotheby’s, Brooklyn discussed his love for vintage wine, casually dropping his admiration for a $2,500 bottle of 1979 Pétrus Pomerol. While the video could have been just another celebrity flex, Brooklyn came across as someone genuinely trying to carve out his identity in the world of luxury goods. At only 25 years old, he has the luxury of experimenting, failing, and trying again without being written off entirely.

On the other hand, Meghan Markle, self-styled lifestyle guru, has reportedly set her sights on the lucrative world of wine. Rumors abound that she plans to launch her own rosé under the label “American Riviera Orchard.” If true, this venture would join her collection of attempts at luxury branding, which previously included everything from artisanal jams to dog biscuits.

But here’s the kicker: Brooklyn is already ahead of Meghan in this game. While Meghan’s wine brand remains a mere rumor, Brooklyn is actively engaging with Sotheby’s—a historic auction house with centuries of expertise. He’s out there talking wine, even admitting he’s new to the craft, and taking steps to learn along the way.

Meanwhile, Meghan’s foray into wine feels more like another calculated attempt to attach herself to something glamorous. The name “American Riviera Orchard” doesn’t exactly scream sophistication—more like a rejected Hallmark movie title. And let’s be honest, does anyone truly believe Meghan has a genuine passion for winemaking? It seems more likely that she’s hoping this venture will elevate her into the league of celebrity wine moguls like George Clooney or Brad Pitt.

For all his missteps and privilege, Brooklyn at least shows a willingness to put himself out there. He’s testing new waters, learning from mistakes, and trying to create something beyond just his famous last name. Meghan, on the other hand, has spent years riding the coattails of others, spinning various facets of her life into a brand.

When was the last time Meghan genuinely earned something through effort? Her pattern of slapping her name on high-end products and calling it luxury doesn’t suggest much substance behind the glitz.

Brooklyn Beckham may be far from a seasoned wine expert, but his attempts to engage with the industry feel more authentic. His involvement with Sotheby’s showcases effort, even if his journey is still in its early stages. Meghan’s rumored wine endeavor, however, comes across as another polished attempt to market herself rather than any real interest in the craft.

In the world of celebrity reinvention, Brooklyn’s sincerity—flawed as it may be—stands out against Meghan’s seemingly calculated branding. While she’s still planning her rosé debut, Brooklyn is already making moves, proving that effort, however imperfect, often resonates more than a meticulously curated image.
