Emma Thynn Takes Legal Action Against Netflix & Meghan Markle Over Cooking Show Copying

Meghan Markle can’t seem to catch a break—unless it’s a lawsuit. Word on the street is that Emma Thynn, the Marchioness of Bath, may be preparing to take legal action over Meghan's upcoming, and now mysteriously delayed, Netflix cooking show. According to some reports, Meghan’s show might be a little too similar to Emma’s, leading to speculation that a lawsuit could be in the works.

A blind item has revealed that Emma had a serious discussion with her legal team on January 15th about possibly suing a streaming service over a show they’re promoting. Could it be Netflix? Considering their history of questionable decisions, it's not hard to guess. And is this why Meghan's cooking show has suddenly been put on hold? Coincidence? Highly unlikely.

Let’s be honest—Netflix, what are you thinking? Hiring the “Duchess of Disaster” and her husband, “Prince Harold,” was a bold move, but letting them cook on camera? Who thought this was a good idea? It’s like inviting clowns to perform at a fancy event. At least clowns can entertain, wear decent makeup, and don’t swipe shoes from charity bins. The trailer for Meghan’s show was met with immediate backlash—who could have predicted that the public wouldn’t be clamoring for a royal-flavored cooking tutorial? Oh, right—everyone except Netflix. Rumor has it the show’s delay was blamed on California wildfires, but many suspect it’s just an excuse to stop the damage after that disastrous teaser.

Now, let’s turn to Emma Thynn, a billionaire marchioness with a cooking show of her own. It’s easy to imagine Emma being furious about Meghan allegedly copying her concept. Can you blame her? Imagine pouring your heart into creating a unique show, only to have someone swoop in and take the idea for themselves. It’s like being on *The Great British Bake Off*, only for someone to swap your Victoria sponge for a soggy knockoff.

So, what exactly is Emma suing for? After all, there are only so many ways to host a tea party. Do we really need another show where someone sips Earl Grey, nibbles on scones, and tells us to “live, laugh, love”? Unless Meghan is straight-up stealing Emma’s recipes or catchphrases, this could be a tough case to win. However, Emma doesn’t necessarily need to win in court. With her high society connections and some powerful allies, she could make Meghan’s life difficult in ways that don’t involve a legal battle. A quiet word in the right ear could do the trick—or Emma could simply ignore Meghan entirely, as many seem to be doing these days.

Speaking of Netflix, why didn’t they learn from their last debacle with Harry and Meghan? Remember the documentary? It received a 90% dislike ratio and thousands of snarky comments. Sure, people hate-watched it, but is that really the legacy Netflix wants? Apparently, yes, because they’re doubling down by backing another show that’s already stirring up legal drama before it even airs. You’d think Netflix would realize that viewers are more interested in popcorn-worthy lawsuits than in watching Meghan stumble through a recipe.

If Netflix wants to save face, they should shelve Meghan’s show and give Emma’s a green light instead. Call it *The Real Thing* and fill it with actual talent and charm. Throw in some guest stars who know their way around a kitchen and aren’t trying to rehab their image with every appearance.

As for Meghan, maybe it’s time to hang up the apron and take a step back. In the end, this whole fiasco might end up benefiting Emma more than anyone. She’s getting priceless PR without lifting a finger. As for Netflix and Meghan? Well, they’re not exactly cooking up a storm—they’re more like creating a recipe for disaster.
