Meghan Markle’s 'Archetypes' Tackled Stereotypes Limiting Women, and a Podcast Comeback May Be on the Way
Meghan Markle may be preparing for a podcast return, with new episodes of her hit show *Archetypes* potentially on the horizon, just six months after its sudden cancellation by Spotify.
The audio company behind the Duchess’s popular podcast, Lemonada Media, recently sparked speculation with a cryptic Instagram post, suggesting fresh content may be in the works.
Launched in August 2022, *Archetypes* aimed to challenge and break down the stereotypes and labels that hold women back, featuring high-profile guests like Serena Williams and Mariah Carey. The podcast quickly garnered attention for its candid conversations on topics such as ambition, identity, and gender expectations.
However, in June 2023, Spotify and Archewell Audio, the production company co-founded by Meghan and Prince Harry, ended their partnership, fueling rumors of behind-the-scenes tensions. Reports at the time indicated that Spotify had been expecting a more substantial return on their investment.
Fast forward to February 2024, and Meghan signed a new deal with Lemonada Media, a company renowned for its engaging and thought-provoking audio content.
Recently, Lemonada Media dropped a major hint on Instagram, teasing: "We are SO back!"
Fans of the Duchess have been eagerly speculating about a podcast revival, with one follower excitedly asking, "Omg! Are you saying Meghan’s podcast is coming out this week?"
When she joined Lemonada, Meghan shared her excitement, saying, “I’m proud to now be able to share that I am joining the brilliant team at Lemonada to continue my love of podcasting.”
It seems *Archetypes* may be making a comeback soon, much to the anticipation of listeners who have been eagerly awaiting Meghan’s return to the podcasting world.
