Meghan Markle’s Netflix Beekeeping Scene Slammed as ‘Fake’ by Real Beekeeper

Meghan Markle’s Netflix Beekeeping Scene Slammed as ‘Fake’ by Real Beekeeper

Megan Markle had exhausted every possible avenue for self-promotion, she pulls another stunt so absurd it feels like it belongs in a satirical sitcom. Megan has reportedly bought beekeeping suits for Harry, Archie, and Lily, according to her “master beekeeper.” This news follows the now-infamous post about her *fake* beekeeping endeavors, and honestly, this might be one of the most unintentionally hilarious clapbacks yet.

Picture this: Megan, dressed in a pristine bee suit, is shocked and amazed at the mere existence of bees, as if she’s never seen an insect before. She’s giggling, exclaiming things like, *“Wow, that’s so amazing! Look at them! Oh my gosh, look at all those bees walking around, crawling around! This one has orange pollen in its pocket! Oh, that one has yellow! Look how big this one is! What are these guys doing? Just asking questions!”* She’s like a giddy teenager, completely mesmerized by the buzzing creatures.

Seriously, is this the same woman who has been accused of treating staff, family members, and even pets with utter disregard? Yet here she is, whispering sweet nothings to bees. According to her beekeeper, Megan has never been stung. Of course she hasn’t—because she’s never actually around the bees. This isn’t about beekeeping; it’s about Megan trying (and failing) to outshine the Princess of Wales, who actually tends to her own hives at Anmer Hall. Megan, on the other hand, has a paid beekeeper who does all the work while she shows up for the photo ops.

Netflix even admitted that the beekeeping footage in her docuseries wasn’t filmed at her home. Isn’t it a little embarrassing for a woman approaching 44 to act like a giddy, giggling teenager? Megan always seems to be mimicking young girls, from her obsession with teenage aesthetics to the way she speaks.

The cherry on top? There’s actual photo evidence proving Megan faked the whole beekeeping bit. In a screenshot from her Netflix cooking series, she’s seen handling honey with zero protective gear—no gloves, no headnet, no smoker, and, shockingly, no visible bees. Even amateur beekeepers know that if you start harvesting honey near a hive, bees will swarm. But somehow, Megan’s magical bees decided to take the day off.

A real beekeeper pointed out, *“I wouldn’t even do that outside. It only takes one bee to get a whiff of the honey, head back to the hive, and tell the others before all hell breaks loose.”* Which is probably why Megan and her beekeeper put on the full suits—for the aesthetic, not the function. It’s all part of her ongoing performance, where she dresses up for the role, takes some pictures, and moves on to the next totally fabricated passion project.

Everything Megan does is a poorly executed copy of someone more successful. Let’s run down the list:

  • Beekeeping: Ripping off Catherine, Princess of Wales, and David Beckham.
  • Netflix show title: Allegedly stolen from Pamela Anderson.
  • Stylish home: Rented for the cameras.
  • Cooking scenes: Staged for optics.
  • Honey drizzle technique: Drizzling honey from two feet in the air like some avant-garde art performance.

How does someone fail so miserably at literally everything, despite having unlimited money and resources? It’s almost impressive.

At the end of the day, Megan Markle isn’t a beekeeper, a chef, or even a relatable figure. She’s a perpetual role player, dressing up in carefully curated outfits to portray herself as a woman of depth and talent. The problem? None of it is authentic. She could have simply admitted she thought beekeeping was cool and hired a beekeeper to do the actual work. But no—she had to pretend to be the “bee’s knees” of beekeeping. And honestly, it’s as cringe-worthy as it sounds.
